WOMAN DIES IN NEW ROSS ROAD ACCIDENT
Gardai are continuing to question a man in connection with a fatal crash in Co. Wexford last night.
A 63-year-old woman was a passenger in the car which hit a wall at Harvey Place in New Ross at around 7pm.
Her body was taken to Wexford General Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.
A 59-year-old man, who was driving the car, was taken to Wexford General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
One person was later arrested and is in Garda custody for questioning.

Earlier yesterday one person was seriously injured in a single car crash on the Gorey to Carnew road.
The accident happened in the afternoon and the road was closed for a time while emergency services dealt with the scene.
