WHITNEY HOUSTON’S DAUGHTER DIES AFTER SIX-MONTH COMA
The daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown has died, six months after being found unconscious in her bath.
Bobbi Kristina Brown (22) suffered irreversible brain damage and was admitted to a hospice in June.
Her family says she is ‘finally at peace’.
A statement on her mother’s Facebook page – the late Whitney Houston – said: “It is hard to say goodbye. On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully. The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers.”
“As Bobbi Kristina would say: “The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face.”
Entertainment journalist Steve Hargrave says she had a complicated upbringing.
“She went through her life basically with her parents – Whitney and Bobby Brown – going through this tremendous problems both personally and publicly with incredible drug use” he said.
“She was right in the midst of that storm, so I don’t think she ever really had this sort of settled” he added.
