Donald Trump has admitted Russia was on his mind when he decided to fire FBI director James Comey.
In his first interview since the sacking, the President accused Mr Comey of being a ‘show boater’ who had left the FBI in turmoil.
Opponents claim it was an attempt to stall an investigation into Russian interference in the US election, and Mr Trump’s links to Moscow.
But speaking on NBC News the President’s denied any wrongdoing.
