There has been a call for a crack down on the sale of drugs in Wexford. The appeal came from Coolcotts woman Mary Beary whose 33 year old son Martin died from an overdose last week. She says that there is a need for a dedicated task-force to deal with the problem. These claims were echoed by Fine Gael TD Michael Darcy who says similiar initiatives have led to a reduction in general crime. He spoke out strongly on the problem of drug pushers on South East Radio’s Morning Mix.
