The shortage of doctors in the south east region could be about to be alleviated
That’s according to Gorey Fianna Fail Senator Malcolm Byrne
A number of GP practices in County Wexford don’t have a permanent doctor in situ
However the outlook is now better according to Malcolm Byrne with a doubling of training places in the system
This will bring the number of places for the south east region from fifteen to thirty
