SPORT: WEXFORD’S ANDREW SHORE’S 48 WEEK BAN UPHELD
Andrew Shore’s much publicised 48 week suspension will stand.
The Wexford hurler met with the Warwickshire County Board in England to put his case to them last weekend.
He was banned following his participation with Roger Casements in Birmingham and this morning received notification that the ban is being upheld.
The former Davidstown-Courtnacuddy player now has 3 days to appeal the Board’s decision.
