SPORT: WEXFORD YOUTHS THROUGH TO THE NEXT ROUND OF THE LEINSTER SENIOR CUP
Danny Furlong came off the bench in the second period of extra time to fire Wexford Youths into the next round of the Leinster Senior Cup last night.
They beat Athlone town 2-1. Eric Molloy with the other goal for the Wexford side.
Next up is an away game against Shamrock Rovers this Friday night in the airtricity league premier division.
It’s the second league game for Shane Keegan’s side who lost their first ever top flight match 2-0 against Longford Town last week.
