SPORT: WEXFORD YOUTHS PLAYER WINS YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR TITLE
Wexford Youths’ Ciara Rossiter has won the Continental Tyres Women’s National League Young Player of the Year for 2014-15.
The ceremony took place in Dublin yesterday.
The WIT student was up against team mate Aisling Frawley and Cork’s Shannon Carson in the competition.
The Team of the Season also featured six of the Wexford Youths players; Mary Rose Kelly, Nicola Sinnott, Ciara Rossiter, Kylie Murphy, Carol Breen and Claire O’Riordan.
It comes as the Wexford side took the league title for the first time in their history this year.
