SPORT: WEXFORD WELL REPRESENTED AT THE NATIONAL BOXING STADIUM
There are a number of Wexford representatives at tonight’s Elite Boxing Championship Finals in the National Stadium.
Adam Nolan is going for his fourth consecutive Welterweight title and is up against nineteen year old Stephen Donnelly of Ballymena.
It’s thirty one years since Boxing Coach Billy Walsh won his first National title, and tonight he will be in the corner for his nineteen year old nephew Dean, who faces Michael Nevin of Portlaoise in the light welterweight division.
And Lindsey Doyle from Gorey Boxing Club will fight at the National Stadium tomorrow night in the National Senior Final in the 57kg feather weight division. Her opponent is Joanne Lamb from Belfast.
