SPORT: WEXFORD NATIVE PLAYS KEY ROLE IN RUGBY CLUB INTERNATIONAL GAME WIN

Gorey native and current Landsdowne player William Earle played a key role in Ireland’s win over England in the Ulster Bank Irish Clubs International at the weekend.

The Ballygarret man played at Number 6 in which Ireland won by the narrowest of margins 23 – 22.

The game was played at Darlington in Durham.

William Earle is currently captain of Landsdowne who play in the All Ireland League.
