SPORT: REP OF IRELAND UP TWO PLACES IN FIFA RANKINGS
The Republic of Ireland have risen two places to joint-50th in the latest FIFA world rankings.
Martin O’Neill’s side share that mark with the Cape Verde Island after an unbeaten first half of 2015, which included draws against Poland, Scotland and England.
Scotland are 32nd, Northern Ireland are 40th and Argentina top the list ahead of Belgium.
