SPORT: LIVERPOOL BOSS TO MEET OLD SIDE IN THE EUROPA LEAGUE
Liverpool have been drawn against Borussia Dortmund, manager Jurgen Klopp’s former club, in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
The other ties see Braga of Portugal play Shakhtar Donetsk and Villarreal meet Sparta Prague while there will be an all-Spanish clash between Athletic Bilbao and holders Sevilla, who are chasing a third straight tournament success.
Meanwhile Manchester United and Liverpool have both been charged by UEFA following crowd trouble during last night’s Europa League game at Old Trafford.
The charges against United include crowd disturbances and the throwing of objects.
Liverpool have the same allegations, as well as illicit chanting, the setting off fireworks and delaying the kick-off.
Jurgen Klopp’s side beat United 3-1 on aggregate to reach today’s quarter-final draw.
