SPORT: LIMERICK WITHOUT JAMES RYAN FOR WEXFORD CLASH
Limerick hurler James Ryan has been ruled out for their clash with Wexford this weekend.
The experienced midfielder underwent surgery last week to repair cartilage damage in his knee and the operation is expected to rule him out of action for up to a month.
The Limerick Leader also reports that young corner back Sean Finn is also out with a cruciate ligament injury, while the county’s Na Piarsaigh players – who contest the All Ireland club hurling final on March 17th – will also be unavailable.
The treatymen take on Wexford in the opening round of the Allianz Hurling League on Saturday at the Gaelic Grounds.
