SPORT: IRELAND TEAM TO FACE ITALY IN THE SIX NATIONS NAMED
There’s no place for Wexford’s Gordan D’Arcy in the Ireland team to face Italy in the Six Nations in Rome on Saturday.
As expected Ian Keatley has been given the nod to start at out half.
Robbie Henshaw will play inside centre with Jared Payne at 13 while Jordi Murphy will be number 8 in the absence of the injured Jamie Heaslip.
Issac Boss and not Eoin Reddan will be on the bench.
Sean O’Brien will feature for the first time since November 2013 starting at openside.
Coach Joe Schmidt says Keatley and Conor Murray’s familiarity is what swung it for Munsters number 10.
