Former UCI President, Pat McQuaid has admitted to making mistakes while head of cyling’s governing body, but refuted claims he favoured any riders.
A Cycling Independent Reform Commission report claims that the UCI’s previous leadership failed to follow anti-doping rules and showed preferential treatment to shamed cyclist Lance Armstrong.
One interviewee told the commission he thought around 90 percent of the peloton still cheat – with others guessing far less than that.
