SPORT: FORMER BRITISH CHAMPION JOCKEY BIDDLECOMBE DIES
Three times champion National Hunt jockey Terry Biddlecombe has died. He was 72.
Biddlecombe won the title three times in the 1960’s, as well as riding ‘Woodland Venture’ to victory in the 1967 Cheltenham Gold Cup.
He later married trainer Henrietta Knight and worked closely with her, helping ‘Best Mate’ to three Gold Cups.
