SPORT: CONGRATULATIONS POUR IN FOR SHANE LOWRY FOLLOWING PGA TOUR WIN
Shane Lowry has won on the PGA tour for the first time.
The Offaly man won the World golf Championship Bridgestone invitational in Ohio after a final round 66 gave him an 11 under finish.
Lowry was 2 shots clear of Bubba Watson.
Graeme Mc Dowell ended tied for 17th on 1 under.
Lowry’s win has moved him up to 19th in the new world rankings.
