An injury-depleted Ireland squad will return to training this morning as Thursday’s World Cup qualifier against Georgia looms on the horizon.
With a total of seven squad members ruled-out for various reasons, the Irish management will be hoping for good news in relation to Harry Arter, who has stayed-behind at Bournemouth for further treatment on a knock he picked-up last weekend.
Aberdeen striker Adam Rooney and Under-21’s goalkeeper Ian Lawlor have both been added to the squad as cover.
