SOD TO BE TURNED ON NEW ROSS BYPASS ON MONDAY
The offical sod turning for the New Ross bypass takes place next Monday February 1st.
Work on the long awaited bypass will begin immediately.
The ceremony will be performed by the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform Brendan Howlin and Government chief whip Paul Kehoe.
Representatives of both Wexford and Kilkenny County Councils will be both in attendence, along with officials from Transport Infrastructure Ireland.
It follows the signing of the contracts for the 230 million euro scheme this week.
