NORTH KOREA SAYS IT’S DETONATED HYDROGEN BOMB
The UN security council has called an emergency meeting today as North Korea says it’s detonated a hydrogen bomb.
The secretive state claims it’s successfully tested one of the weapons – which creates a more powerful blast than is generated by uranium or plutonium.
But South Korea’s intelligence agency says it’s yet to detect radiation which would come from such an event.
