The Department of Education’s decision to halt the ASD Hub Extension at Good Counsel College in New Ross has been slammed as a betrayal of children with special needs.
The €2.29 million project was approved and urgently required to increase capacity for students with Autism, but now the school faces a reduction in special education places due to overcrowding.
