NEW JOBS FOR MEATH, CORK AND GALWAY
The tech industry is driving several major jobs announcements today.
In Meath, social media giant Facebook says 2,000 builders will be needed to construct a new data centre in Clonee.
Another 150 full time jobs will be available when the plant is up at running by 2018 at the latest.
In Galway, 100 jobs are being created with the merger of two existing firms to form a new brand called ‘Intuity’.
While 60 roles are on the way in Cork where ‘Fortuity’ is hiring an extra 10 staff as it expands its cloud computing capabilities and Hortonworks is taking on 50 workers as part of its support team.
