Lottery Won’t Confirm Whether Winning Euromillions Ticket Was Bought In Wexford

LOTTERY WON’T CONFIRM WHETHER WINNING EUROMILLIONS TICKET WAS BOUGHT IN WEXFORD

As speculation continues that Friday’s 66 million euro Euromillions winning ticket was bought in Kilmore Quay – the National lottery remains tight lipped on the matter.

Its Lottery policy not to immediately reveal the location where any Euromillions jackpot winning tickets are bought because of the size of the win.

Paula McEvoy from the National Lottery says the Irish winner shared last Friday night’s prize:

“It’s half the jackpot amount for last Friday and the other ticket is worth the same amount – 66.1 million and that was sold in France” she said.

“So em currently we await the winner or the winners to get in touch with us here in the National Lottery. Em we don’t know eh who the winners are as yet but eh if they’re listening to this eh it would be just lovely to wish them congratulations over the airwaves, it’s a fantastic win” she added.
