KEHOE SAYS MORE NEEDS TO BE DONE TO IMPROVE HEALTH SERVICES
The Government Chief Whip has admitted there are a number of issues which need to be addressed in the Department of Health.
Paul Kehoe says he has no doubt the Health Minister James Reilly knows exactly what needs to be worked on.
Minister Kehoe was speaking yesterday following the publication of figures which show an 86 per cent drop in the number of people waiting on trolleys at Wexford General Hospital since 2011.
The drop comes as an increase in the number on waiting lists at the hospital was recorded late last year.
Paul Kehoe has commended the hospital on the positive trolley figures but says more needs to be done.
