I.F.A. CALLS FOR GOVT “JOINED UP THINKING” ABOUT FLOODS
The President of the Irish Farmers Association is calling for “joined up thinking” from the government to tackle the problem of flooding around the country.
Eddie Downey made the call during a tour of farms along the River Shannon to survey the damage caused by flooding.
Mr Downey wants the Government to bring together all the agencies involved, in order to tackle the problem.
