GOREY GARDAÍ APPEAL FOR WITNESSES FOLLOWING SHOOTING
A man in his early 40s sustained serious leg injuries after a number of shots were fired outside a house in the Clonganny area near Ballygarrett.
The incident happened at around 2.30 yesterday afternoon and it’s believed at least two men were involved in carrying out the attack.
A number of shots were fired by a passing car which was later found burned out a short distance away.
The victim was taken to Wexford General Hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
