GARDAI APPEAL FOR WITNESSES FOLLOWING ENNISCORTHY ATM ROBBERY
An explosive substance was used by three armed raiders to blow the machine from the wall at the Ulster Bank on Rafter Street in Enniscorthy at around half three last night.
One of the thieves fired a shot at the uniformed Gardaí – while they were still in the patrol car – but no one was injured.
The other two suspects were seen coming out of the bank.
A quantity of cash was taken and all 3 suspects fled the scene in a black estate car believed to be an old style audi 6.
