DUBLIN SOLICITOR HAS UNTIL 4PM TO LEAVE HOME
South Dublin solicitor Brian O’Donnell has until 4 o’clock to leave his home by order of the High Court.
The court yesterday rejected a bid by his children to stop the family’s Killiney house from being repossessed.
Representatives of the receivers pinned notices of trespass on the house’s gates last night – but these have since been taken inside to Mr O’Donnell.
Brian O’Donnell and his wife Mary Patricia owe Bank of Ireland over 70 million euro – and the High Court yesterday blocked their children’s bid to prevent receivers taking possession of the Gorse Hill house on Killiney’s Vico Road.
Mr O’Donnell has been given a new deadline of four o’clock this afternoon to comply – but it’s understood he’s told supporters that he has no intention of leaving.
Representatives of the receivers last night pinned a notice of trespass on the gates of the property.
Members of the media and the new Land League will both gather outside those gates – as that deadline draws nearer.
