Negotiations for the sale of the swimming pool and leisure complex in Courtown are at an advanced stage.
That’s according to the liquidator Baker Tilly, based in Enniscorthy.
South East Radio News understands the Courtown Woodlands public rights of way will be protected as part of the Leisure Centre deal.
Over 2,000 people had signed an online petition to stop the sale of the Woods to a private developer.
Speaking on Morning Mix Neil Hughes from Baker Tilly says talks are now advanced and a decision is expected in the coming days.
