BROWNE CRITICISES TRANSFER OF WEXFORD AMBULANCE CONTROL CENTRE TO DUBLIN
The plan to close the ambulance control centre in Wexford is not a move in the right direction.
That’s according to Wexford Fianna Fáil TD John Browne who addressed the Health Minister in the Dáil this week over the transfer of services to a National Control Centre in Dublin.
Deputy Browne was also highly critical over the number of ambulances now available in the county pointing out that there were more in operation in the 1970s.
He says people are concerned the Wexford control centre’s knowledge of the county will no longer be available.
