BRIAN O’DONNELL TO TAKE BATTLE FOR GORSE HILL TO EUROPEAN COURTS
Solicitor Brian O’Donnell arrived at the Bank of Ireland AGM this morning, where he presented the keys to Gorse Hill to the bank’s senior officials.
Mr O’Donnell and his wife Mary Patricia – who owe the bank over 70 million euro – earlier left the south Dublin property after the Supreme Court rejected their bid to appeal a trespass order.
Brian O’Donnell left the house at about 9.40am in a Jaguar driven by the Land League’s Jerry Beades.
A removal van was also seen leaving the Killiney home.
Brian O’Donnell says he’s taking the matter to Europe.
“It’s something we’re very disappointed about – we felt we had very good grounds for appeal, and we are now going to go to the ECHR – so that’s all I want to say at the moment” he said.
