BANK SCAM IN CARLOW AND KILKENNY
A major garda investigation is underway after hundreds of Bank of Ireland accounts were skimmed at the weekend in Counties Carlow and Kilkenny.
It’s believed thousands of euro were taken from Customers accounts in Banks in Borris Graigunenamanagh and Thomastown
Gardai believe fraudsters downloaded current account information by putting a small camera beside an ATM and an electronic device over the card slot.
Bank of Ireland says any affected customers will be reimbursed in the coming days.
