ARREST MADE IN POLAND AFTER HOAX CALL ABOUT EXPLOSIVES ON RYANAIR FLIGHT
A man’s been detained by police in Poland after a hoax call was made about explosives on board a Ryanair flight.
Authorities shut down Modlin airport this morning after an anonymous report of an explosive substance onboard the flight from Warsaw to Oslo.
Ryanair says passengers had not yet boarded the flight and an immediate inspection was carried out.
The security sweep confirmed the incident was a hoax and the aircraft has returned to service, while the airport has since reopened.
