ANOTHER WEATHER WARNING
Met Eireann is warning of the risk of further flooding in coastal areas in the next 24 hours.
They’ve issued a Code Orange weather warning for Dublin, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, Meath, Cork, Kerry and Waterford where high tides and strong winds may cause some coastal flooding.
They’re predicting gusts of up to 100 kilometres-an-hour tonight and tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile, a major cleanup operation is underway in Limerick, after severe flooding forced hundreds of people from their homes in the city yesterday.
The flooding mostly affected the Kings Island area of the Limerick.
Galway city was also hit by flooding as strong winds and high tides lifted water levels.
The coastguard is warning people stay away from coastal areas during storms.
