SPORT: KILKENNY’S MICHAEL FENNELLY A DOUBT AHEAD OF WEXFORD CLASH
Michael Fennelly has emerged as a fitness concern ahead of Kilkenny’s Leinster hurling semi-final against Wexford in Nowlan Park this Sunday.
A lower back problem, linked to his arthritis, has flared up, leaving him struggling to break into Brian Cody’s first championship outing this year, according to the Irish Times.
The former player of the year says he has to be careful how he trains because of the long standing back injury.
