COUNTY WEXFORD SEES A DROP IN RENTAL PRICES
Average rents in Wexford have dropped by 12 per cent per month.
This is in line with most counties in the region as contained in the Rent Report from the Irish independent.
Rents in County Wexford now stand at an average price of 546 euro per month, which is a drop of 12 per cent from the previous Rent Report.
The biggest drop was in Enniscorthy where the average rent for a two bed apartment has gone down by 15 per cent to 442 euro.
The cost of renting a three bed semi detached house costs on average 588 euro in the county, with the most expensive area being Kilmuckridge, where the average monthly cost is 622 euro.
All counties in the south east region have witnessed a drop in rental prices, with the biggest drop recorded in Wexford.
