SPORT: BENT RELEASED FROM VILLA
Aston Villa have released striker Darren Bent.
The club’s record signing scored 25 goals in 72 appearances after signing from Sunderland in January 2011.
Villa have also revealed they’ve offered defender Ron Vlaar a new deal, with his contract due to expire at the end of the month.
