SPORT: WEXFORD UNDER 21 HURLERS OVERCOME KILDARE
A dozen Conor McDonald points got Wexford’s Leinster Under 21 hurlers three-in-a-row bid off to great start against Kildare.
The sides clashed in Newbridge last night.
The teams were level six times in the opening half but three points from McDonald, who finished the half with eight, gave Wexford a 0-9 to 0-7 interval lead. Wexford upped the ante after that.
The final score was Wexford 0-23 points to Kildare’s 14 points.
