DROP IN LIVE REGISTER MONTHLY AND ANNUAL FIGURES FOR THE SOUTH EAST
There’s been a 10 percent drop in the live register figures in the South East.
Over 5,000 less people are signing on when April is compared with the same month last year.
The the latest figures from the CSO also show there’s been a 1.3 percent drop in the last month.
Nationally the number of people on the live register has fallen below 350,000 for the first time in 6 years.
Seasonally adjusted figures show there were 1,800 less people on the dole between March and April.
The standardised rate of unemployment remains unchanged at 10 percent.
