SPORT: WEXFORD YOUTHS WOMEN WIN NATIONAL LEAGUE
Wexford Youths Women’s team created history over the weekend.
They won the Continental Womens National League for the first time in their history, following a 2-1 away win against their title rivals Raheny Utd.
They also become the first club outside of Dublin to win the league.
It also means the prospect of UEFA Women’s Champions League football coming to Wexford became a reality.
Their last home game will be against Peamount Utd next weekend.
