SPORT: DOYLE INCLUDED IN 35 MAN SQUAD FOR IRELAND’S EURO QUALIFIER
Wexford’s Kevin Doyle has been included in the 35 man squad for Ireland’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Poland at the Aviva on March 29th.
Aston Villa’s Shay Given and 25 year-old Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter are also named in the squad, which will be reduced before they meet on March 22nd.
Arter was born in England but has played for the Republic’s youth teams having qualified through his grandparents.
Meanwhile Ireland are up one place to 66th in the FIFA rankings released today, our group opponents Germany remain top.
