SPORT: WEXFORD HURLERS MAKE IT TWO WINS FROM TWO
The Wexford Senior Hurling team had 9 points to spare following their victory over Offaly in Tullamore on Sunday – the first Wexford team to record an away league victory in Offaly since 1973.
It was the second win for Wexford in division 1B of the Allianz National Hurling league following their win over Antrim.
The final score was Offaly 0-12 – Wexford 2-15.
The Model County side will next face Limerick.
