RORY MCILROY’S ACTION AGAINST FORMER AGENTS SETTLED
Rory McIlroy’s High Court case against his former agents has been resolved.
The golfer’s Senior Counsel told Judge Brian Cregan that the matter had been settled “to the satisfaction of all parties”.
The terms of the settlement with Horizon Sports Management will not be released.
Rory McIlroy was not in court this morning.
The case centred on a contract the world’s number one golfer signed with the company back in 2011 – which he deemed unconscionable – while Horizon had been counter-suing over alleged breach of contract.
The settlement means there will be no lengthy court case.
After the matter was settled, Judge Brian Cregan wished both sides all the best in the future.
