PLANE CRASH IN TAIWAN LEAVES AT LEAST 16 DEAD AFTER TURNING ON IT’S SIDE IN MID-AIR
At least 16 people have been killed after a plane turned on its side in mid-air, clipped an elevated motorway and crashed into a shallow river in Taiwan.
Dramatic footage taken by drivers also shows it’s wing hitting a taxi as it came down in Taipei.
Teams of rescuers in rubber rafts are now surrounding the wreckage – at least 24 people are still missing.
The domestic flight appeared to miss apartment buildings by metres.
