The Role: Legal Executive (Probate and Conveyancing)
The successful candidate will take on a broad range of responsibilities primarily focused on Probate and Conveyancing matters. The role will involve working closely with clients and professionals, ensuring all legal documentation is handled accurately and promptly, and supporting the firm’s solicitors to provide the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Formatting legal documents, particularly those related to Probate and Conveyancing cases
- Communicating effectively with clients, legal professionals, and external stakeholders
- Transcribing dictation and drafting correspondence
- Managing diaries and scheduling appointments for solicitors
- Gathering, organising, and preparing legal documents and files
- Providing general administrative support including filing, invoicing, and document management
The Ideal Candidate:
To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess at least 4 years of experience in a legal executive or secretary role, with a specific focus on Probate and Conveyancing. The firm is looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a legal environment at an executive or secretary level
- Strong knowledge of Probate and Conveyancing processes
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with a case management system
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well with both clients and colleagues
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work on own initiative
