A Fine gael General election candidate had a narrow escape from fallen tree last night.
Brian Brennan was travelling home from canvassing when a very large tree weighing approximately 2 tonnes fell in front of his car
The incident happened on on the Wicklow/Wexford border on the L6204 near Killaveney in Tinahely
Fire services from tinahely were call to the scene and immediately shut the road down
