A most decisive winner at Punchestown on Tuesday was the Sean O’Keeffe-ridden Jetara which landed the Listed mares’ novice hurdle in fine style. Trained by Jessica Harrington for owner/breeder Gerry McGrath, the 2/1 joint-favourite raced into a clear lead after the final hurdle to beat Willie Mullins’ A Penny A hundred by six lengths. The winner might well reappear at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival.
