Today is the deadline for college students to apply for grants for this academic year.
Households that earn under 100-thousand euro gross income are now entitled to 500 euro off their college fees.
Minister for Higher Education, Simon Harris, said in September over 30-thousand students who were eligible hadn’t applied for this grant.
Various other supports are available for households on lower incomes.
