SPORT: WEXFORD’S KEVIN DOYLE ON LOAN AT CRYSTAL PALACE
Wexford will once again be represented in the premier league.
Kevin Doyle has joined Crystal Palace on loan.
The 30 year-old had been completely frozen out by his current club Wolves but he’ll now join palace until January under Neil Warnock.
A return to the Premier League is a hugely positive development for the Ireland international after he helped QPR to promotion last term but was unable to secure a permanent switch.
Meanwhile Joey O’Brien has withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland squad for tomorrow’s friendly with Oman and Sunday’s European Championship qualifier with Georgia.
The full back will return to his club West Ham for treatment on a knee injury.
