SPORT: HEASLIP NEW LEINSTER CAPTAIN
Jamie Heaslip has confirmed as Leinster’s new captain.
The Ireland and Lions number eight will take over the role full-time after deputising for Leo Cullen for several games last season.
Meanwhile, Leinster head coach Matt O’Connor has said that Brian O’Driscoll will have a part-time coaching role with the province next season.
O’Driscoll has agreed to help new signing Ben Te’o to adjust from Rugby League when he finally moves from Aussie NRL side, the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
